Overview
This app helps you find the perfect recipe! Also, it helps you
figure out what to do. The app is useful for someone who wants to
learn how to cook and prepare dishes at home.
There are three main features :
Discovery
I began my research by browsing through some existing food apps and observed key features that made each app stood out of its competitors. This exercise helps me identify gaps within these apps and informed me what features that Foodie needs to be able to gain a competitive advantage.
User Interviews & Surveys
To do complete research about the project I went through various steps and processes before I started implementing the project.
Objectives
The main goals of this research were to:
- Help define the most relevant and beneficial product features for users.
- Understand the preferences of different user groups to help building personas in the design process.
Target audience
: People who enjoy searching and creating new recipes, like
different cuisines and may have some dietary restrictions.
3 Key points from user interview:
- For users who want dairy free, vegan recipes it is tricky to find every time.
- There is nowhere to ask for cooking tips or advice when I need it.
- Users want to share recipes and shopping lists with family and friends
